Hey gang!

We're looking for a female voice to portray the role of Columbia's main computer system.  Ideally, the voice will be confident, but sanitized.  Halting speech or "robot voice" isn't something we're looking for.  Think smooth as silk "automated voice recording".

I wanted to give everyone a few updates on the progress of Episode 1x02, since you haven't heard anything from us in a while - quite a while, actually.

First, the bad news.  Life gets in the way fairly regularly in the fan community - and Starfleet Renegades cast and crew are no exception.  A variety of personal issues resulted in delays in accomplishing much of the pre-production work.  Our original internal release date was set to May 31st, but the delays have forced us to abandon that goal.

Now the good news.  The script has been FINISHED!  Camren T. Burton, the writer for our 2nd episode, has completed all requested edits, and the script has been locked for "shooting". We've started the process of cutting it into sides for guest star role auditions.

Speaking of which - if you'd like to be considered for a role, we'd love to hear from you.  Post an email to starfleetrenegades at gmail, and we'll chat a bit about what we're looking for.

We continue to look for good folks who want to work behind the scenes as well.  Composers and Writers are in high demand, as well as a new cartoon artist, anyone with mad graphics skills, and audio engineers for future episodes.  If you're interested, please send a portfolio of your best work to us at starfleetrenegades at gmail, telling us how you want to be involved.

And now for the GREAT news: Our new release date is set to be on or before July 31st, 2010.  I hope to be releasing at least some additional material and tidbits as we get closer to release time - but for now, I've got to keep these goodies under the hat.

Thanks so much for your patience and appreciation over the years.  I know it's been a slow ride at times - but on behalf of all the cast and crew of Starfleet Renegades, we all want to make sure that the destination was worth the trip.
